

One mans information is another mans BS if I may paraphrase slightly. What we would call information is our treatment of that light, but the intrinsic properties of light won't change due to that. = It becomes a logical fallacy to me in that if light is governed by 'c' it doesn't matter if you assume 'information' being sent or not. The point is that we're not talking shadows and a geometry, but light which is mediated by radiation (and that's 'c').

I bet Dr Kaku can build one in his backyard although it might go faster if his tools are one light year long. If now this is possible, that light change its properties due to geometry then warp drives sounds very feasible. Let us dissect the statement slightly, either it presumes a difference between the light waves (photons) hitting the spheres surface or it has a magical component that reminds me of alchemy.
